Attic Restoration

Your home’s ability to retain the proper temperature seasonally has been compromised. We work to restore the insulation to its original form to keep you comfortable in your home.

Removing old insulation

Whether the damage has been caused by a rodent infestation, or you simply want to replace your old insulation, the first step is to remove the current insulation.  First we remove any trash and debris. Once this is done we begin to remove all contaminated insulation. Lastly we sanitize the entire attic with an antimicrobrial DSV grade sanitizer.  This sanitizer is dispersed throughout the attic by a fogging machine. This ensures that any contaminants left in the attic are neutralized leaving the attic free and safe from bacteria and disease.

Blowing in new insulation

Once the attic is clean and sanitized we put in new insulation.  It is important to ensure the new insulation is blown in to the proper height to ensure sufficient insulation is inside the attic.

Hanging ducts

In humid climates, ducts in vented attics should be hung or suspended in contact of the ducts with other objects in the attic.  This should be avoided to reduce the possibility of condensation forming on the ducts.
